⚡ THE TUESDAY QUICKIE ⚡
Sorry guys, but it’s a super busy week for me. Knocking out work tasks early this week and heading to Arizona tomorrow morning to run the Grand Canyon with some friends 🤘
But I wanted to send something out.
And since we had a Big Bear US National Series race and an Ohio Age Group Series race over the weekend. Let’s take a quick look on how the results looked and the current standings as we’re over halfway through the Spartan Elite Series.
Starting with the Elites after 3 races.
Elite Athletes must complete 3 of 4 races. If any athletes who have run, haven’t done at least 2 races by now, they are out of the game. Since there’s just one race left. Because of this, I’m only including people who have a chance at the overall podium.
Info has been looked and checked over a few times. Hopefully there’s no errors here. 🤞

The top 3 spots matter here, and Athletes need 3 races to be included.
For the women, there could be some small moves made, but those top 4 do already have 3 races in, so the stress isn’t too strong to get out to that last one.
Cassandra almost has it all wrapped up, the only risk is if Claudia can come out and win the final race, she could take it down overall.
And for the guys. There’s 6 of the 7 guys in here only have 2 races completed!?!?
That’s significant.
As of now, only 1 person, Matteo can technically step on that podium.
Adam has said he was going to the final race, but I’m not sure on these other guys. If the field is light, that 3rd spot might be easily in play.

Let’s touch on some Age Group standings.
Do I have the time to filter through and find all podiums for men and women in every age group?!?!
F No.
So I’m keeping it simple and pointing out the top of the top when it comes to the AG series racing. Here are the top 6 overall Men and Women when all AG’s are combined.
Are these accurate standings and should be used for Spartan’s purpose?
Absolutely not. This is setup differently than what is intended. For your actual podium results, points will likely be within your Age Groups specifically.
I am just pooling all of you together into one big AG Spartan Bucket and tallying your points similar to how the Elite field is added up. But instead of 3 of 4, it’s 2 of 3 races per zendesk.
And for you west coast people. Sorry, but no data for ya’ll right now. You’ve only done 1 of your AG Series races so far.

Special Shoutout?!?!
As I put this together, I noticed peoples ages. Shoutout to Jesse Beam crushing it as 3rd overall AG in the series at 48 years old. Lorraine Ensana in 5th on the Ladies side at 50 years old, and Mr. John Castle at 58 years old, with a 6th place overall AG standing.
And again. Are these perfectly accurate?!?!
Hm, I think so.
But you know how Spartan’s results page can be sometimes, and filtering & organizing through 3 races is cumbersome, so let me know if something looks off. 🍻
