It’s finally WTM week all !!!

We’re having a Prediction Contest for WTM and want to share some info about the Athletes to help you out in your Top 3 podium picks!

NOTE: This will be going out Thursday late morning. It’s possible some new names who could shake up the podium are found between now and Friday afternoon. So follow our IG Stories for any new updates that come out between now and Friday night which could affect your prediction picks.

Some Top Favorites - Men’s Roster

Michael Schjott
As your WTM winner 🥇 of 2024 with 115 Miles, Michael is definitely a big favorite for many coming into this weekend.
Plus, let’s not forget he pulled off 2nd place in 2023 with 100 miles. If I recall correctly, he was in the lead for a good portion of the race, then took a long ~3-4 hour nap or something, and still got up to finish it out for a 2nd place spot.
It seems like he figured out his pacing and sleep schedule in 2024 with a solid win.
Can he do it again in the UK this weekend?!?!

Josh Fiore
Josh has a lot of experience with WTM and OCR Ultras, so nothing will surprise him this weekend.
Josh’s WTM Resume includes:
- 2024 WTM - 2nd place with 110 miles
- 2023 WTM - 4th place with 100 miles
- 2022 WTM - 5th place with 100 miles

I’m betting Josh’s closet is already overflowing with orange jackets, but the guy is still heading out for another. And as you see in the last three years, he’s creeping up higher and higher on that podium. You better believe he wants that 1st place win 🏆️

Joe Rucco
Joe’s had some impressive standings at WTM the last two years.
Last year, he was our 9th guy to get that 100 mile orange jacket.
And in 2023 he performed very well and got that podium spot at 3rd place in a stacked field, ahead of a couple other guys on this list, like Josh Fiore (4th) & Grant Thompson (9th).

Mark Gaudet
Another OG with Ultra OCR racing, Mark came out in 2022 and battled Tyler Veerman a good part of the race and snagged the 2nd place spot with 105 miles.
We haven’t heard much from Mark recently, but his February 2025 IG post mentions going to WTM this year. So hopefully that’s still good info and we’ll see him there.

Grant Thompson
We saw Grant at last years WTM just missing that podium and getting 4th place with 100 miles. And before that he got 9th place with 85 miles in 2023. His WTM performance is moving up!
And on top of that, he's in great Tough Mudder fitness right now, as he just won the London West 12 hour Tough Mudder last month.

Harvey Mitchell-Divers
Not finding results with the 24 hour WTM, but Harvey recently picked up 92km at the London West Tough Mudder just last month in 11 hours, behind Grant Thompson and ahead of Daniel Miska (3rd) who’s also going to WTM this weekend.

Mike Strobel
Mike is putting in the work and keeps moving up in his WTM performance each year. 74th place with 60 miles in 2022, 28th place with 75 miles in 2023, and 16th place with 90 miles in 2024.

Daniel Miska
Recently picked up 3rd place at London West Tough Mudder.

Patryk Kaleta
Recently winning the Ultimate Warrior OCR event with 145km over 24 hours.

Corey Edwards
Has a lot of WTM & Ultra OCR experience and recently picking up a win at the Spartan Ohio Ultra.

Some Top Favorites - Women’s Roster

Kris Rugloski
She’s back! After taking a year off, the first woman to hit 100 miles at a WTM event will be stepping onto the start line this weekend. 💪
Kris had a strong 2 year stretch at WTM including:
- 1st Place with 90 Miles at 2023 WTM ahead of Nikki Caromba (4th).
- 1st Place with 100 Miles at 2022 WTM ahead of Heather Bode (5th).

She’s been out of the OCR scene a little bit the last couple years, but it’s hard to bet against Kris.

Nikki Caromba
Our 1st place winner from last year, Nikki hit 95 miles and will be back out this weekend. That orange jacket was only 1 lap away last year! Maybe she’s going hard to pick it up this time 🤞

Kelly Glynn
I’m not finding too much out about Kelly, but am seeing that she picked up 4th place in 2021 with 80 miles.

Jill Heller
Last year was her first WTM event and she picked up 4th place with 85 miles. It looks like she’s hooked and giving it another go this year!

Morgan McKay
Morgan took a hiatus from OCR and Ultra events, but is coming back!
It looks like Morgan did WTM for 7 years!!
And in 2019, she ran 80 miles and finally came home with a win 🏆️
It seems like she somewhat retired from OCR after that. And per an IG post she had recently, she says she hasn’t been prioritizing run training. And the goal this weekend is to do 12 hours on course, and go for 24 if her body and mind allow it.
Whatever happens, it’ll be great to see her back out at a WTM!

Nadine Wendt
Picked up a 2nd place spot last month at the London West 12 hour Tough Mudder. She says this is her most important race of 2025 and her goal is 75 miles.

Heather Bode
Heather is familiar with Belvoir Castle where she’ll be running this weekend. She was out there in June 2023 where she won first place at Europe’s Toughest Mudder event. And prior to that she had a good showing with 5th place in 2022 with 75 miles.

Klaudia Szuba-Lata
Just 6 weeks ago, Klaudia got 1st place at the London West Tough Mudder 12 hour event with 83km, ahead of Nadine Wendt (2nd) and Julia-Mareen Vetter (4th), who will also be there.

Melissa Linden
She has a good bit of WTM experience. Running 75 miles for 14th place last year, and 65 miles for a 9th place finish in 2023.

If you know of any other competitors heading out that should be added to the list, hit me up!

Note: You can fill out the form for Predictions as many times as you want, with the most recent one counting.

The cutoff will be 11pm Eastern Standard Time on Friday June 27th.
