⚡️ I TOOK A HIATUS!⚡️

Sorry about the long delay in putting out a Newsletter guys.

I went after a side project over the summer and put on a Trail Race & Obstacle Course Race that kicked off a couple weeks ago.

Some solid athletes came out to compete and everyone had a great time. Feedback has been awesome and I plan on putting on another event next year, probably mid-June. So check it out and follow along. And if you’re anywhere near the Pittsburgh area come check it out next year.

🔥 PREDICTIONS! 🔥

The focus of this Newsletter is to talk about the Predictions submissions that people took part in for the Trifecta World Championships in WV last weekend.

Along with the current Predictions polling for the upcoming OCR World Championships in Sweden.

Starting with the Trifecta WC

20 submissions came through, and we had Megan Aurora with TalkingDirtyOCR & TheSweeperPod win by a solid margin. 👏
3 EXACT picks with the men’s field: Hynek, Egor and Jan. With the three ladies just 1-2 places away from each other.

Joe Martello & Petra Costa were tied for 2nd, but Joe just inched it out by having 3 exact picks vs. Petra’s 2.

Here’s a list of all the people who submitted and the scoring.

Scoring was made by:
1point for exact pick, .5points for within 1spot, .25points for within 2 spots, .1points for within 3 spots, and .05points for within 4 spots. With any Tiebreakers going to the person with the best “Exact Pick”.

Now for the OCR World Championship 3K & 12K

With the help of Megan Aurora, I got ahold of a list of the top names, based on the starting corral times and inputted to the Predictions list. There are many other athletes competing, but these names should be the top contenders. And if you want to vote for someone else, there’s a spot to do so!

The Short Course is on Thursday.
Any submissions should be done 15minutes prior to the Start Time.

The Standard Course is on Saturday and the same rule applies.

Follow along with our Instagram - OCR Directory where some stories will be added with some further info about Coverage and Contenders.

Best of Luck in your Predictions! 🤞
And if you’re racing out there or anywhere else this weekend, have a blast ya’ll 💪
